Have you guys checked out the March issue of House Beautiful? It's all about perfect color combos, including a new spin on red, white and blue with this 1828 Nantucket beach cottage designed by Gary McBournie. The Boston interior designer (who also has offices in Nantucket and Palm Beach) actually owns the little cottage, and I think it epitomizes his style: Classic American with a subtle twist on tradition. I just adore the design of living room, which was inspired by the great ticking stripe fabric. He even cut out the blue and red stripe from the fabric and used it as a border on the curtains! LOOVE the paint color too, of course it just happens to by Benjamin Moore's Palladian Blue–one of my favorites! The kitchen is too perfect with Benjamin Moore's Covington Blue abound! See more pics by Julian Wass and learn all about the home over here!
