This one designed by Andrea Dixon and Jen Ziemer of <a href="http://www.fiddleheaddesigngroup.com/" target="_blank">Fiddlehead Design Group</a> out of Minneapolis has all that covered and more! The owners of this early twentieth century Victorian home wanted to maintain the historical integrity of the home, while adding more storage and better workflow in their kitchen. I love how the designers mixed contemporary elements, like the fab back-painted glass backsplash, with all the traditional elements. And did you see the built-in coffee center?? Lucky ducks! Yesterday I discovered the dreamy gem <a href="http://cecilieslykke.blogspot.com/2011/07/nibs-juliutfordring-sommerparadis.html" target="_blank">Cecilies Lykke</a>, where the Norwegian blogger Cecilie fed my soul with her beautiful, enchanting photography. I adore her home filled with pretty pastels and soothing whites (in true Scandinavian style!) Her charming bedroom above is a finalist in the "Summer Paradise" challenge over at <a href="http://norskeinteriorblogger.blogspot.com/2011/08/finalister-juliutfordring.html" target="_blank">NIB</a>. Just looking at it instantly perked me up and made my happy!
