Lots of light with white cabinetry, turquoise tiles, and Carrera marble countertops...this is what my favorite kitchens are made of! Cynthia of Meringue Designs doesn't design kitchens for a living (really cool, modern designs for machine embroidery is her business), but with the help of Orem, Utah's Benjamin Blackwelder Cabinetry, she recently remodeled her dark, inefficient kitchen into her dream one. She and her husband Paul lived in their old kitchen for 5 years, figuring out exactly how they wanted their dream space to look–and saving up the money to do it right. Each and every aspect is so well thought-out. Just visit her blog Deep Thoughts by Cynthia to see what I mean (and for 'before' shots!). Such inspiration. She has a really great source list too...including that fab, fab subway tile!
