Today we're visiting the master bedroom <a href="http://www.coastalliving.com/homes/idea-houses/east-ultimate-beach-house-00414000069524/" target="_blank">Coastal Living's Ultimate Beach House</a> designed by <a href="http://www.phoebehoward.net/home.aspx">Phoebe Howard</a> and photographed by <a href="http://www.triagiovan.com/" target="_blank">Tria Giovan</a>. The thing I love most is how the entire space is saturated with the same soothing, watery hue. The <a href="http://www.phillipjeffries.com/" target="_blank">Phillip Jeffries</a> grasscloth on the walls is the perfect backdrop for the antique nautical maps, and that beautiful coral mirror. And I LOVE the cozy corner window seat covered in pretty pillows! I think I'd sit there all day looking out over the water! It was insta-love with the blue subway tile in the kitchen, but I think it's great how they chose fumed oak cabinets for the bottom and white painted cabinets for the top. The living room and dining are straight up coastal cool with the crisp navy and white stripes against the calm backdrop of <a href="http://www.prattandlambert.com/" target="_blank">Pratt and Lambert's</a> <span style="font-style: italic;">Hesperia</span> on the walls. I love how she used banquettes instead of chairs too! And how about that fab paddle mirror?!? I have no idea where it's from, but I saw a similar aqua one when we were in Nantucket in a cute shop called Anderson's Fine Gifts.
