I couldn't agree more with John Willey of <a href="http://www.willeydesign.com/" target="_blank">Willey Design LLC</a> who designed this amazing Hamptons home featured in this month's issue of <a href="http://mydigitalpublication.com/publication/?i=49437&35&p=31" target="_blank">East Coast Home + Design</a> and photographed by <a href="http://www.davidjacquotphotography.com/" target="_blank">David Jacquot</a>. I love the personality of the entire space...it's sophisticated, but fun-loving and comfy too. You really can't go wrong with Mother Nature's beachy color palette, sunshine and all!<br /><br />If you guys were reading along a year ago, you may remember last November Chris and I actually <a href="http://www.houseofturquoise.com/2009/11/vacation-recap-and-even-some-turquoise.html" target="_blank">took a trip</a> out east to the Hamptons and NYC. You guys gave us so many <a href="http://www.houseofturquoise.com/2009/11/my-belovedand-your-help.html" target="_blank">fantastic ideas</a> of what to see and where to go, we had <span style="font-style: italic;">such a blast</span>. Well we've decided to return again this year, but for 10 days. So in a few short weeks that's where I'll be! You don't even know how excited I am. I just have to ask you guys again, since I have a lot of new readers now, do you have any recommendations?? Where to stay, eat, play, etc? We're hoping to spend 5 days on Long Island around the Hamptons (with a car), and 5 in Manhattan (with good shoes). Plenty of time to see and do a whole lot! Bring the Seaside Inside

Whether you're steps away from the beach, or landlocked smack dab in the middle of flyover land like me, bringing just a little seaside inside is always a good thing!
