The little lake home belongs to her aunt and uncle who completely renovated the space themselves. She said before they got their hands on it it was a total mess of a shack. They tore it down to just the beams, then collected all the awesome original 50's appliances, dishes, flooring, countertops, cabinets, etc. They also kept all of the original furniture and reupholstered it...turquoise! I was immediately hooked, and went on to her website only to discover it filled with my favorite color. (Not just these gorgeous rooms, but her actual site too!) It's obvious going through her portfolio that she loves color, and classic designs that combine beautiful fabrics, artwork and furnishings. All so elegant, but comfortable at the same time.
