These are images from one of Catherine's newly renovated beach cottages. I spy my Ikea four-poster bed (well, WILL be mine...!) Now how about that kitchen. The stainless steel is such a fun, unexpected pairing with the aqua and white. So cool!! Among all the discounted treasures was the most gorgeous turquoise velvet sofa. *gasp* I stared at it, sat on it, stared at it, sat on it....you get the picture. It was wasn't cheap (although a good price for R&B), but I was more worried about where I'd put the thing. Honestly though I wondered if a turquoise velvet sofa was really <span style="font-style: italic;">practical</span>. I finally concluded it probably wasn't and walked away sad and empty-handed. Today the answer is definitively YES, it's <span style="font-style: italic;">highly</span> <span style="font-style: italic;">practical</span>!
