The English Room

Hot pink and turquoise is always a delightful combo (my favorite in fact!), but leave it to Charlotte-based interior designer Holly Hollingsworth Phillips of The English Room to create an elegant, sophisticated living room with such bold colors! Calming neutrals tone down the bright colors, while subtle layers of pattern, beautiful artwork and a great mix of old and new keep the space feeling vibrant yet refined! Love the foyer too, and that gorgeous stair runner! You definitely want to see the rest of the home....for more photos by Jim Schmid and to read an article all about it, visit Charlotte Urban Home! And in case you didn't see it the first time, check out this amazing project I featured last year by Holly Phillips!

Mary-Bryan Peyer Designs

I'm loving the open and airy feel of this light-filled Sea Island, Georgia cottage designed by Mary-Bryan Peyer Designs! First and foremost, the turquoise ceiling and wet bar! The fun, cheery color really makes the unique features all the more eye-catching! The calming sand and sea color palette all throughout the home is lovely though, perfect for its marshside location. So much great natural texture too–a must in any coastal home! Finish your tour with more photos by George Ingram right over here!

Karr Bick Kitchen and Bath

Rustic meets retro in this fabulous pool house kitchen designed by Jenny Rausch, owner of Karr Bick Kitchen & Bath out of St. Louis, Missouri (captured by Denash Photography)! The turquoise Northstar appliances are definitely the focal point, but how about that incredible tile?! Love how it goes all the way up the wall! The soaring ceiling and wood beams are fantastic too. Such a fun space! Check out more beautiful space by Karr Bick here!

JMA Interior Decoration

Inspired by the sky and river just outside, this incredible Tequesta, Florida home designed by Jackie Armour of JMA Interior Decoration, Inc. and photographed by Robert Brantley is filled to the brim with beautiful shades of blue! There's so much to love here, every room is incredible and takes full advantage of the stunning water view. The crisp blue and white family room is my favorite though...love how those sliding glass doors open right up to the porch! I adore the kitchen too! The home was recently featured in Luxe magazine...read the article, get sources and see more pics here!

Karen B. Wolf Interiors

I love when designers not only incorporate existing pieces, but they embrace them! Interior designer Karen B. Wolf did just that in this multifunctional New York space (photographed by Christian Garibaldi) that serves as a both a dining room and lounge area. The beautiful chippendale table was inherited by the client, but didn't fit into their desired look. The savvy designer had the chairs upholstered in a yellow chinoiserie fabric, instantly giving them a fresh update! Love how she carried the pops of yellow throughout, especially in the striking Reagan Gershardt abstract art above sofa! See more inspiring design from Karen B. Wolf Interiors over here!
