This bed covered in Malabar fabrics immediately made me swoon when I saw it on Belle Vivir. Every time I crawled into that bed, it would feel just like a vacation. The colors are absolute perfection.

Turquoise Country Bedroom
I love the quietness this photograph taken by Björn Wallander evokes. This 1859 home belongs to Amy Hamilton, and was featured in the Summer 2007 issue of O at Home. Amy and her husband rescued the farmhouse located on six acres of central Ohio farmland. The dilapidated cottage didn't even have running water until 1985!

Phoebe Howard

This is one pretty blue Johns-Island home designed by Phoebe Howard. I love the peaceful vibe of the bedroom, combined with the more fun, bright island vibe of the other room. Definitely head over to her online portfolio to see more of this beautiful home (and lots more eye-candy too)! I hope you all have a great weekend! :)

Sunny Blue Bedroom
This room that I found on Peacock Feathers definitely stirs up all those fond feelings towards yellow and turquoise. I LOVE the Oly bed. Wish I could see the rest of the room to get a peak of those big windows too. What a pretty room!

Swedish Candy

I am loving this vibrant Swedish home that Ashley of Decorology posted last week. So many fun colors and energy. I especially love the collection in the windowsill, and the way the yellow lampshade just bursts out against the teal walls.

Comfy Cozy Turquoise

Oh what I would give to have a turquoise buttoned headboard like this! I would be one happy girl, that's for sure. I just want to dive right into that super comfy bedding. From housetohome.

Retreat on the Potomac

I thought this was such a neat, beautiful home that Vitania of Verdigris Vie shared on her blog. The 1916 beauty on the banks of the Potomac River was restored by Boston interior designer William Hodgins. The soft blue palette is so calming and pretty. But I love the history of the home. You can read all about it and see more images at Architectural Digest.

Beachside Treat

I've posted that amazing room of curtained bunk beds before, but until I ran into it again on Blueprint Bliss, I had no idea where it came from (although of course we assumed a beach house). But it was THIS beach house in South Carolina designed by Carter Kay and featured in the April 2008 issue of Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles. How fabulous are those swinging beds on the porch? That's where I'm pretending to be stationed this weekend. Thank you, Blueprint Bliss, what a gem.

Rustic Turquoise
"Erin" and "Rustic" usually don't belong in the same sentence, but I fell hard for this room designed by Jill Kantelberg and featured in Canadian House & Home. The reclaimed wood looks amazing against the white beadboard. But it's all the blue and seaside accessories that just do it for me, of course.

Eclectic Living

These photos that Desire to Inspire featured from Light Locations feel like a fun place to live. I love the eclectic vibe going on. Everything mixes and matches so effortlessly. Wish it was that easy! I especially love the last bedroom and how romantic it feels. So pretty.

Peaceful Living Room
This photograph taken by Carolyn Barber just reminds me of a quiet day at the beach. I really like all the sand-colored furniture and accessories paired with the aqua green walls. So serene and quiet...I love it!

Perfect Escape
Joni of Cote de Texas recently did a fantastic post giving us bloggers a tutorial on cameras and photography. This image of a Los Angeles bedroom was an example she used on how professional photography can really make a difference. I'd agree. But I think I'd love the bedroom even if the picture wasn't perfect! (You can click on the image to make it bigger...it's quite the picture!) Speaking of Cote de Texas, have you guys been listening to The Skirted Roundtable? If you're a design blogger, I'd definitely recommend it. I've learned so much since they started them!

Heavenly Kitchen

Although this kitchen found by Megan of A Life's Design is a whole lotta white, the pops of blue make it especially heavenly. I don't know how easy it would be to keep clean, but I really like how there is a pantry off to the side to keep everything. Guess you need somewhere to hide it all when you have open shelving! Hop over to Traditional Home to read all about this pretty kitchen designed by Molly Frey. And have a fantastic weekend everyone! :)

Sun and Sky
Just Beachy in the City had this image from Country Living on her blog yesterday. I always love a clever DIY canopy, and this one is way cool. Love the yellow cabana striped fabric...very nautical and beachy, made especially lovely paired with the pretty blue. Yellow and blue, oh how I love you!

More Jane Coslick Magic

It is officially agreed that you all love Jane Coslick as much as I do! I'm positive you're gonna love these images of her Wren's Nest transformation. Isn't that master bedroom amazing?! Love all the comfy seating, the bed, the view! So many gorgeous details EVERYWHERE in this home. *Sigh* You should check out Jane's blog here...definitely one to add to your blogroll if you love her designs!
